The problem
A health band records continuously, and none of that is worth anything while it is sitting on the device. Recordings had to come off reliably over Bluetooth from a phone that may be in someone’s pocket with the screen off, and over LTE-M when there is no phone nearby at all.
The outcome
Recordings sync from band to phone to backend without the wearer doing anything. Sessions land in Supabase, and the volume goes to ClickHouse where it can be queried rather than merely stored.
